Dering having a child. I have been on anti-depressants since I was 16 and have helped me live a normal happy healthy life. My husband and I are ready to have children. I understand the consequences of using my medication whilst pregnant but I don't believe I have any other choice than to take them whilst pregnant. I take anti-depressants for the fact of fear. I have an inbuilt fear inside me of death, if I faint etc etc. I can't control my emotions when I'm not on them. I tend to cry have mood swings and feel helpless. Somehow all these feelings and emotions will disturb having a normal pregnancy and child birth. I've on numerous occasions consulted my psychiatrist and doctor and they can only help you so much.
